What this service is
FindYourLostPets helps pet owners generate formatted alerts and distribute them across lost-pet databases and community channels. It is provided free of charge, without advertising, and with no guarantee of continued availability.
Acceptable use
Use this service only for legitimate lost and found pet recovery. You agree not to:
- Submit false information or create fictitious pet listings
- Use the service to locate, track, or harass individuals
- Attempt to circumvent or disrupt the service's operation
- Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law
Your data and backups
Your pet data is stored in your browser. We are not responsible for data loss caused by browser storage clearing, device replacement, software updates, or Apple's iOS Safari storage policy (which may automatically delete locally stored data after 7 or more days of inactivity). Use the Export backup feature regularly. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
No warranties
This service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about uptime, data preservation, accuracy of third-party links or database integrations, or continued availability of the service.
Takedown and abuse
To report misuse or request removal of content, email contact@findyourlostpets.com. We will respond to valid requests as promptly as we are able.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.
